About the Founder

Born and raised in New York, Samantha attended The College of Westchester where she graduated with a BA degree in Healthcare Administration. She's always had a passion for helping others and pursued healthcare for over  10 years. Although she had a great managerial position and coworkers, she was becoming comfortable and stagnant. Samantha slowly started exploring the beauty industry and launched her own cosmetic line in May of 2019. She's always had sensitive, reactive skin so she decided to create a lipgloss with all natural, vegan ingredients and got popular from there. In 2020, she moved to Ocala, Florida after having her second child in hopes of a more suitable lifestyle since COVID-19 made everything so difficult. Unfortunately, most of her business materials didn't survive the travel & heat in Florida and the loss wasn't worth rebuilding. She continued healthcare but grew unhappy and she didn't want to be on the phone all day arguing with insurance companies. Still having an interest in beauty, she discovered esthetics. She attended school and became a licensed esthetician where she found her calling! She carried her amazingly caring personality and silly sense of humor into her business and is one of the most genuine people you will meet. She's a great listener, advisor, friend and an even better esthetician. She enjoys the happiness and glow everyone has after the service is completed, therefore, influencing her company name "Afterglow Esthetics & Spa". 

Samantha is constantly continuing her education to remain credible and up to date with the newest trends. She won't disappoint you!
